April Fools Day. Are you booking in for a Spring Covid-19 BOOster? Dr Hilary thinks you should.

It’s April Fool’s Day and I’m not laughing. Who are the fools?

Welcome to all my new subscribers and thank you so much for reading. Special thanks to those of you who have offered to pledge, perhaps in time I will do that, for now, I am just happy you are joining me, and I can get some news to you all. I have been overwhelmed by support, messages and encouragement. Genuinely, thank you.

Do you ever wake up rattled? With a busy day planned, I was up bright and early. Having promised to help a friend, I rocked up at her house to find ‘Lorraine’ Kelly, bleating away on ITV. Raising my eyebrows, I helped myself to a slice of toast…. only to nearly choke on it. Dr Hilary Jones, GP to the stars suddenly appeared. His skin looking very ‘orange’. He was charged with marketing the NHS Covid-19 Spring BOOster. “Quick, quick, how do you hit record?”, I pleaded? “Hit the record button”, was the curt answer. No S..t Sherlock.

Before I get on with, yet another rant…not too long this time, I promise, and I think I should declare what may be perceived as a ‘conflict’ of interest.

Dr Hilary Jones, trained as a Dr with me at the Royal Free Hospital back in the 1970’s. We are a similar age. I was a student nurse when he was medical student, we received the same training and came from a similar background, yet we speak a completely different language. We may as well be on different planets. Perhaps you are reading this Hilary? If you are, you may remember me, my maiden name was King. Referred to as ‘007’, back then as I remember, smooth and charming. Always very popular with the ladies.

Today is April 1^st, April Fools Day, the day Lawrence Tallon takes over as CEO of the MHRA.

April 1^st is also the day many will see huge council tax and cost of living hikes.

April 1^st is also the first day of the roll out of the new Covid-19 BOOster, and Dr Hilary was very keen to tell us all about it. According to the NHS website, half a million have already booked their BOOster appointment.

According to ‘Shilary’, 1000 patients in winter were hospitalised every day due to Covid, which could, still be fatal. Therefore, it’s important that if the first 4/5/6 jabs didn’t work, you’ll probably need a 7^th. Anyone over 75 gets a free jab, as do the vulnerable, immunocompromised or those suffering chronic illness. However, anyone can grab one if they pay, off you pop to your local pharmacy. BUT, if you don’t want one, that’s fine. Everyone has choice and it’s just an option! Err pardon me Dr Shilary? That isn’t what you said 4 years ago. Wasn’t it you who encouraged folk to wear a mask even if they were sunbathing on the beach? Was it just a really good laugh for you? Was it you Shilary, who gave inaccurate information to the public? You have a lot to answer for, yet you still invade the public’s front rooms like a thief in the night.

Not only did Hilary, use his usual charm offensive to persuade viewers to listen to his ‘trusted messenger pseudo advice’. Get the jab and prevent a ‘fatal’ disease, he told us all. He went onto tell us that Covid-19 is very much still around. In fact, 1000 patients a DAY were hospitalised every day during Winter! But hey, don’t worry if you don’t want to take up on the invitation of a BOOster, that’s fine too. We all have a choice? CHOICE! REALLY…that isn’t what you were saying 4 years ago?

It didn’t end there, there was more advice from the ‘good’ doc, childhood vaccinations, measles etc. I won’t bore you; I am sure you are all getting the picture by now. Needless to say, I decided to post some clips on X, I was so angry. Have a look if you are on social media, you can find me here.

So, here in the UK, the Covid-19 BOOster circus is back in town. I certainly won’t be accepting any invitations and strongly suggest no one else does either.

Rats and Rubbish

A major incident has now been declared in Birmingham. An ongoing bin strike has left 17,000 tonnes of waste littering the streets. Perhaps worth noting a few facts about rats.

There are as many rats on the planet as humans

There is no policing of rats in the UK

The most common rat is the Norwegian or Brown rat, more commonly known as the ‘sewer rat’.

Have rats become a protected species? What does the law say?

UK local authorities have a statutory duty to control rats under the, Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949. HOWEVER, and here is the rub, local authorities are NOT legally required to provide in-house pest control services. Most don’t even offer them for a fee.

Should we expect an exponential rise in disease in Birmingham, rats the size of cats have been spotted already. As expected, The United Kingdom Health & Security Agency (UKHSA) are all over it already.

On a slightly different note, it is worth mentioning, many rubbish dumps are now bookable slots only. No more can you just rock up with as many bin bags as you like. Check your local dump as they all have different rules.

Putin’s Limo

Many news sources are reporting an explosion in Moscow, involving one of President Putin’s official limousines. Really? Why wasn’t this wall to wall on mainstream media? I posted a couple of articles on X, and was informed by someone living in Moscow, there was nothing to see. I have no reason to disbelieve him, but…there is always a ‘but’. We are living in 2025, anything is possible, life is just one big PANtomime nightmare.

Council Tax rise pays for record salaries.

Yes really! With huge hikes in council tax for us, those very same town hall fat cats get pay rise. You can’t make it up. The Tax Payers Alliance recent survey states that…wait for it, you may need a lie down… 238 council employees get paid more than the Prime Minister. Almost 4000 council employees receive more than £100,000 pa.

Virginia Guiffre has days to live after car crash.

I was shocked and saddened to read that the woman who had accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault has been involved in a car crash. Do you remember, Virginia Guiffre who sued Prince Andrew back in 2021/2022. According to her social media posts, she has only days to live. According to her Instagram account her car was hit by a school bus travelling at nearly 70 mph! Do school buses go that fast in the USA, were there kids in it? The details are very scant. She reports that she is in renal failure and has been given a shockingly terrifying prognosis of only 4 days to live.

Please send prayers to her, and to her family, especially her children who she is so desperate to see. Sorry to finish on such sad news. Question everything. Car crashes included
